Can Liza be brave enough to risk her heart to get what she needs the most?
Blurb
Liza Cox has created a life for herself where she doesn’t have to risk being hurt. After surviving being abandoned by her father, and the death of her mother, she is determined to be independent. Her career is flourishing, she is the leading restorer of Early American art. She finds herself lingering in a chatroom of a spanking social site. She is afraid to surrender and yet yearns to do so.
A rare sheepdog, gifted by the father she barely knew, is the first of many cracks in her perfect life. A mystery surrounding a famous painting intrigues her, and how does she decide which of the men she has met on the spanking site to meet in real life?
This book is laugh out loud funny and explores the worlds of high tech art restoration as well as the role social networking can play when a smart woman longs to have her bottom scorched by a man who demands the best of her.

Excerpt:
His kiss made her stop talking. It was a kiss full of sweetness and yearning. It was a kiss that hinted at summer wine and fleecy mittens, the clasp of a tender hand and pussy pounding sex. She stood stock still with the shock of the perfection of that kiss and he said, “This is as romantic as it could possibly be.”
Bliss. Until she thought about it for a millisecond. “That makes it worse.”
“How?”
She recommenced her pacing. “If this is romantic, I cannot possibly get naked before we have even gone out to dinner.”
“Honey,” he tried to interject and she waved him off and paced a wider spiral.
“Honey,” he tried again.
He stepped in front of her. “Elizabeth.” That got her attention. “Honey, you only have to take off what you want to. I promise.”
She was determined to be frazzled. “No. In a real punishment I don’t get a say.”
He shook his head. “Not true.”
“Are you sure? Because I am pretty sure it's true.”
“It’s not. It would be crazy of you to trust me that much, right now. I understand.” He kept his hands under her elbows to prevent the bolting that she was seriously considering. “This is a gift. I don’t deserve it. I won’t insist upon it. You are pretty and smart and funny.” He ran his hand through his hair, leaving it sexily mussed.
“That you trust me that much is huge. I’m not a sadist. This is only good for me if it meets a need for both of us. This is a two-way street. I won’t do anything you don’t want me to do.”
“Really?”
“Yes.”
She did not visibly relax but she sat down on his right side. She held up a finger in case he was considering doing any overlap hauling. “So. Are you going to ask me on a date later?”
